Dan and Karen Hiett are dedicated funeral directors and owners of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. They have been integral members of the community since acquiring the funeral home in April 2000, offering compassionate and personalized service to families in need.

Dan, originally from Honey Grove, Texas, graduated from Harlingen High School in 1985. He pursued his education at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, earning his diploma in 1986, and subsequently obtained his Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses in November 1987. Dan's extensive experience includes fifteen years with a funeral home in Mesquite, Texas, where over three hundred families were served annually and received significant professional training.

Karen, a native of Wichita Falls, Texas, graduated from Rider High School in 1982. She later earned her Funeral Director license from St. Louis Community College in June 2006. Karen is also a licensed Funeral Director in Texas. Her commitment to the profession and community aligns seamlessly with Dan’s, as they work together to uphold the values of their family-owned business.

At Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home, Dan and Karen are committed to providing a wide range of traditional and cremation services with the utmost dignity and respect. Their goal is to ensure each family receives the personalized care and attention they deserve, reflecting their deep-rooted dedication to their community.
