William "Bill" Donnie Edwards, Jr.

William “Bill” Donnie Edwards, Jr., 58, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at his home.

Bill was born on July 6, 1964, in Garland, TX, to parents William Donnie Edwards, Sr. and Sue Commer Edwards. He was raised in Dallas and attended grade school until moving to Wills Point and graduating Wills Point High School in 1983. Bill married Rebecca “Becky” Lynne Hill on May 5, 2001, in Wills Point. Becky preceded him in death in 2017. Bill was a heating and air conditioning technician for most of his life. He attended the Round’em Up Cowboy Church in Wills Point. Bill loved to go fishing and enjoyed gardening.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Becky Edwards; father, William Edwards, Sr,; and sister, Cynthia Lee Edwards Wonacott in 2005.

Bill is survived by his mother, Sue Edwards of Wills Point, TX; brother, Gary Edwards and wife, Tonia of Wills Point, TX; sister-in-law, Patty Atteberry of Mesquite, TX; grandchildren, Collin Showler and Corey Showler; niece and nephews, Meredith, Justin and Donovan; along with numerous other family and friends.
