Walter “Jitter” Lee Elser, 95 of Terrell, TX, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, in Rowlett, TX.

Walter Lee Elser was born on July 15, 1925, in Enloe, TX, to parents, Arthur Willie Elser and Mamie Lee Jackson Elser. He was raised in the Enloe community in Delta County and graduated from Enloe High School. Walter was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Dallas before retiring. He moved to Terrell in 2007. Walter married Billie Doud of Terrell in 2013.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mamie Elser, wife, Janice LaJuan Elser, and daughter, Jenny Phillip.

Walter is survived by his wife, Billie Doud of Terrell, TX; son, Danny Ray Elser and grandson, Walter Daniel Elser.
