Tammy passed away February 27, 2026, at her home in Kemp.

Tamara Renee Fain Carlisle, lovingly known as “Tammy,” was born on April 19, 1968, to Billy Ray Fain and Barbara Jean Mosley Fain Martin. She was raised in Irving, where she attended Irving ISD schools and graduated from Nimitz High School in 1986. During her high school years, Tammy enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, and basketball, forming friendships and memories that would last a lifetime.

Following graduation, Tammy began her career in the dental field, working as a dental assistant for various practices over the years. Most recently, she was employed in Dallas by Dr. Lance Jones, where she was deeply loved and adored by her patients. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and compassionate care left a lasting impression on everyone she served.

Early in life, she married Dan Hiett Jr., and together they welcomed their son, Hunter Hiett. She later married Ed Bromley, and they were blessed with two daughters, Megan and McKinlee Bromley. On May 18, 2024, Tammy married the love of her life, Shane Carlisle, and they made their home in Kemp, Texas.

Throughout her life, Tammy lived in several communities, including Forney and Mabank, where she formed many cherished friendships. She especially loved her time near Cedar Creek Lake, spending countless hours on the water with family and friends.

Tammy faithfully supported her children in basketball, football, cross country, cheerleading, and gymnastics, no matter where the events were held.

Tammy and Shane shared a love of golf and treasured their time together, and with friends, at Kings Creek Country Club in Kemp. A recent breast cancer survivor, Tammy celebrated her recovery by taking a twenty-day trip with Shane to his home country of Sydney, Australia.

Tammy had a heart of gold. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and the genuine love she showed to those around her. Her laughter, warmth, and unwavering devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Fain.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Shane Carlisle of Kemp; her mother, Barbara Martin, and stepfather, Gary Martin, of Canton; her mother-in-law, Gail Rigby; her son, Hunter Hiett of Branson, Missouri; her daughters, Megan Bromley and fiancé Kyle Griffin of Stephenville and McKinlee Bromley of Kemp; her bonus daughters, Addison Carlisle of Mabank and Piper Carlisle of Plano; her brother, Randy Fain of Dallas; her stepsister, Rhonda England of Mesquite; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of dear friends from this area and the Texas Panhandle.
