Susan Kay Tull

Susan Kay Tull, 76, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Funeral services will be held November 6, 2025, at New Beginning Baptist Church at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Wednesday evening at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will be held at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
Susan was born on March 7, 1949, in Edgewood, Texas, to Marshall and Faye (Pearce) Tidwell. She was raised in Edgewood and graduated from Edgewood High School.
A devoted member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, Susan faithfully served as a pianist for more than 25 years. Her love for music was a central part of her life, and she especially enjoyed singing with her siblings. Susan also found joy in cooking, caring for her plants, and spending time outdoors.
She worked as the manager of Myatt’s Pharmacy for 15 years before attending The National Education Center of Dallas, where she earned her Certified Medical Assistant certification. She went on to work as a caregiver for 27 years, dedicating her life to helping others with kindness and compassion.
Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Lottie Tidwell and Alton and Gladsie Pearce; parents, Marshall and Faye Tidwell; husband, Ronnie Gene Tull; sister, Tammy Tidwell; brother-in-law, Bobby Norman; and daughter, Rebecca Hudson.
She is survived by her siblings, Tim Tidwell of Edgewood, Carolyn and Horace Wallace of Sunnyvale, and Annette Norman of Edgewood; children, Rusty Tull of Edgewood, Carla and Ben Levy of Wills Point, Mitzi and Donny Smith of Edgewood, and Micki Tull of Edgewood; grandchildren, Ronnie and Ashley Tull, Dustin and Kristin Tull, Blake Hill, Jeffery Brock, Emily Gleghorn, Lexi Porter, and Sara Brock; and great-grandchildren, Ronnye Tull, Morghan Tull, Charlye Tull, Keith Tull, Tinleigh Tull, Ryann Gleghorn, and Lane Mykal. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear family friends who will miss her greatly.
Susan will be remembered for her generous heart, steadfast faith, and the music that brought joy to all who knew her.
