Funeral services for Shannon Denise Curtis Adair, 25, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Stonepoint Church in Wills Point. Burial will follow at Small Cemetery in Edgewood. Services are under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Shannon Denise Curtis Adair was born July 17, 1994 in Terrell, Texas to Ronald Glenn Curtis and Sherry Denise Hooten Curtis. She was raised in Wills Point and graduated in 2013. She met Rusty Adair and they married August 9, 2013. Shannon was employed at the First Baptist Learning Center. She gave her life to Christ in 2004, at Victory Baptist Church in Terrell. Shannon was attending Stonepoint Church in Wills Point. Her nickname was “Frogleggs”. She loved collecting ceramic frogs, loved to bake and spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; uncle, Kyle Hooten and aunt, Karla Hooten.
Shannon is survived by her husband, Rusty Adair of Edgewood; children, Rusty Tyler Adair, Jr. and Darcie Maye Adair of Edgewood; parents, Ronnie and Sherry Curtis of Terrell; father-in-law, Monte Adair and wife Christi of Wills Point; mother-in-law, Eloisa Norris of Balch Springs; brothers, Ronald Curtis II and wife, Danna of Elmo, and Jonathon Curtis and fiancé Shelby of Wills Point; sisters, Stormie Hooten and fiancé Jeremy Haley of Terrell, and Sarah Hooten Frankum and husband Justin of Kaufman; sister-in-law, Tashia Adair Parker and husband Brian of Wills Point; M.J. Adair and wife Ellen of Winnsboro; uncle, John Curtis II of Terrell; aunt, Jerri Rachel Hooten of Wills Point; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
