A gathering of family and friends to honor the life of Roynald "Ronnie" Lynn Graham is scheduled for Monday, August 28, 2023, at 9:00 AM. The gathering will take place at Hiett’s Lybrand Funeral Home in Edgewood, a fitting location for friends and family to come together and remember Ronnie. A private burial will follow the visitation.
Ronnie, aged 75, passed away on August 23, 2023, in Tyler. Born on October 7, 1947, in Dallas, TX, he was the son of the late William Bryant Graham and Dorothy Aleen Woodall Graham. Ronnie's journey in life was marked by significant milestones and meaningful connections. On August 1, 1966, he married Barbara Ann Aston in Dallas, embarking on a lifelong journey together. Their home in Seagoville was not only a sanctuary for their family but also witnessed the nurturing of their deep-rooted love.
A man of dedication, Ronnie spent his entire career working alongside his family in the produce industry. His acquisition of Cousins Produce Stand in Edgewood in 2000 led to the establishment of Graham’s Produce, a testament to their commitment and hard work. Ronnie's contributions were pivotal in shaping the success of the business, and the name "Graham’s Produce" stands as a legacy to his efforts.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Ronnie embraced life's pleasures with enthusiasm. His love for classic cars spoke to his appreciation for craftsmanship and aesthetics. The thrill of playing slots at the casino was a reminder of his zest for life's little enjoyments. However, perhaps his most cherished moments were those spent with his family. Ronnie's love for his wife, children, and grandchildren knew no bounds, and his presence enriched their lives immeasurably.
As we gather to remember Ronnie, we acknowledge the impact he had on those around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald Graham, his sister Leticia Graham Evins, his grandson Teddy Hanson, niece, Brandy Michelle McNeer, nephew, Preston Clark and his close friend Frank Barton. Ronnie's memory lives on through his beloved wife Barbara Graham of Edgewood, his sons Bill Graham and Ronnie Graham and their wives Shannon and Tammy Graham respectively.
His legacy also includes his granddaughters Tasha Graham and her husband Daniel Moses and Cate Henderson and husband Klayton, his nephews Jerrell Graham and wife Tina and John Graham and wife Tabita, his grandson Josh Graham and wife Jennifer, as well as his great-grandchildren, Colton, Emma, Jaxon, Jagger and Jrue. He is also survived by his sisters, Freda Cotton, Vicky Evins, and Betty Cotton, along with numerous other relatives and friends who were touched by his presence.
