Robert "Bob" Brown

Robert “Bob” Brown, 83, of Edgewood, TX, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, in Wills Point, TX.

Robert Eugene Brown was born on November 18, 1937, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Grafton Brown and Carrie Schevan Brown. He was raised in Lockney, TX, and graduated from Lockney High School. Bob married Pat Finley on April 17, 1965, in Oklahoma and they lived in Grand Prairie, TX, for many years. He was a Supervisor for Canteen Vending Services for over thirty years before retiring in 2001. Bob and Pat moved to Edgewood in 1994, to get out of the big city and made the small community their home. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Willow Springs Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed hunting with his grandsons and loved to ride his side by side to check on the cows.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Grafton and Carrie Brown.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Pat Brown of Edgewood, TX; sons, Steve Brown and wife, Paula of Mineola, TX, Rick Brown and wife, Angie of Quitman, TX, and Dwayne Brown and wife, Susan of Port Aransas, TX; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; along with wonderful neighbors, Jim and Charlotte Holland and Dave Stoltzfus’ family.
