Ricky Neal Wallis

Ricky Neal Wallis, 58, of Terrell, passed away on Monday, May 07, 2018, at his home. Services will be held at a later date.

Ricky Neal Wallis was born on July 18, 1959, in Bridgeport, TX, to parents, Luther Wray Wallis and Delaine Ross Wallis. He was raised in Perryville, TX and went to work at the age of 14 for Dean’s Lumber Co. Ricky married Vanessa Hamby on September 12, 1981, in Sunnyvale, TX and they made their home in Terrell to raise their three children. Ricky worked in the fire protection industry for over 40 years, most recently at Dal-Fire Sprinklers Inc. in Rockwall.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Delaine Wallis Berry and a brother, Allen Wallis.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Vanessa Wallis of Terrell; sons, Vernon Wallis and wife, Allison, of Canton and Josh Wallis and wife, Jamie, of Wills Point; daughter, Crystal Crowsey and husband, Nathan, of Heath; brother, Lynn Wallis of Ft. Worth; sister, Patricia Wallis of Saginaw; grandchildren, Kate, Tyson, Kinsley, Oaklea, Heidi, Mac and Miles.
