Ricky Lee Estes

Ricky Lee Estes, 36, of Kaufman, TX, passed away on February 7, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX.

Ricky was born on June 13, 1988, in Dallas, TX, to Terry Estes and Lisa Jimmerson Estes. He was raised in Seagoville, where he graduated from Seagoville High School in 2008. From a young age, Ricky embraced the outdoors and developed a love for hunting, fishing, and the simple joys of country life. He spent most of his career working in construction and building, where he took pride in his craftsmanship and hard work.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Estes and his grandmother, Barbara Bass.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Lisa Estes of Seagoville, TX; his beloved sister, Renee Estes, and her fiancé, Laci Massey, of Seagoville, TX; aunts, Paula Bethurum and husband John of Kaufman, TX, and Lacy Fowler and husband Don of Katy, TX; uncle, Ryan Estes of Kaufman, TX; as well as numerous cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
