Funeral services for Regina Annette Johnson, 53, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Wills Point, TX. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Regina passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Dallas.

Regina Annette Spencer was born on January 9, 1968, in Terrell, TX, to parents Bobby Joe Tarrant and Addlene Green. She was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1986. Regina married Eugene Johnson on April 26, 1996, and they lived in Dallas until moving back to Wills Point in September of 2001. She worked in the cafeteria of Wills Point ISD for the last five years and worked in home health care before that. Regina was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was always a fashionista and had a passion for clothing.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Joe Tarrant; grandmother, Ina Mae Jones; grandfather, Calvin Jones, Sr.; brother, Denishio Spencer.

Regina is survived by her mother, Addlene Green of Wills Point, TX; son, Larry Brown (Porscha) of Wills Point, TX; daughter, Jaquila Spencer (Nathan) of Wills Point, TX; brother, Billy Spencer of Mesquite, TX; sisters, Omeika Green of Austin, TX, Felicia Johnson of Dallas, TX, and Jandra Yarborough of Edgewood, TX; grandchildren, Landon Brown and Aaliyah Brown; special friends, Colita Rogers, Jennifer Willis and Stephanie Gulley.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point with the wake starting at 7:00PM.
