A visitation for Randy Joe Hammonds, 20, of Wills Point, TX, will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Randy passed away tragically on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Randy Joe Hammonds was born on March 15, 2001, in Athens, TX, to parents, Wesley Dean Hammonds and Belinda Joy Swanson Hammonds. He was raised in Wills Point where he attended school. Randy was a small engine mechanic for S P Barkley Co. in Athens. He loved BMX action sports and skateboarding, fishing and fast cars.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Margie and Louis Hammonds; grandfather, Jon Rodney Swanson; cousin, Chase Bo Saxon.

Randy is survived by his parents, Wesley and Belinda Hammonds of Wills Point, TX; sisters, Jena Hatch and husband, Chase of Heath, TX, and Ashley Mattison and husband, Brandon of Wills Point, TX; brothers, Wesley Wade Hammonds and Lasey Cawthon of Garland, TX, and Bryce Alan Hammonds and wife, Kendra of Wills Point, TX; grandmother, Sherry Swanson Anderegg and husband, Carl of Iowa; nieces and nephews, Carson Hatch, Jase Hatch, Lainey Hammonds, Everly Hammonds, Liam Mattison, Caroline Mattison and Rilynn Criado.
