Randy Don Forte

Randy Don Forte, 69, of Terrell, TX, passed away in 2024. Born on March 1, 1955, in Mesquite, TX, to parents Billy Don Forte and Betty Ruth Davidson Forte, Randy was raised in Mesquite and graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1973. Following high school, he attended Stephen F. Austin University, where he began his studies.

Randy spent most of his life in Terrell, where he built a successful career with Southwestern Bell, later transitioning to AT&T, from which he retired in 2002. Randy was a proud member of Stonepoint Church in Wills Point and a Freemason, learning values that shaped his life. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his sons, Beau Forte and Josh Forte, as well as his nephew, Jerry Miller. Randy will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering dedication to his loved ones, and his lifelong friendships.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Stonepoint Church in Wills Point. Services will be under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
