Randall (Randy) Wade Johnson

Randall (Randy) Wade Johnson passed away April 16, 2022, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was born on October 2, 1971, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Afton “Buddy” Benton Johnson and Rita Cassandra Brown.  Randy was raised in Irving, Texas, and graduated from MacArthur High School.  He attended Dallas College at the North Lake Campus, later receiving EMT - Paramedic training at Methodist Medical School, and he also attended Tarrant County College where he became a licensed Certified Nurse Assistant. Over the last several years, Randy was employed by Dicky's Arena in Fort Worth, where he very much enjoyed his work as an Operations Team Lead for many exciting shows and events. 

In his off hours, Randy preferred to relax with his dogs, taking them on trips to the countryside, and otherwise, was an avid hockey and football fan. 

He is preceded by his father, Buddy Johnson, and his uncle Donnie Doyle Brown.  Randy  is survived by his mother, Rita Cassandra Welton and husband Bruce James Welton of Colleyville, Texas, and step-mother Cliffette Lucretia Eads of Palmer, Texas.

Randy was interred at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point, TX. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
