Pennie Jean Haydon

Pennie Jean Haydon, 61, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Grand Saline.

Pennie was born on August 25, 1964, in Paris, Texas, to James E. Burchinal and Eloise Boswell Burchinal. She was raised in Paris, where she graduated from Paris High School. On April 2, 1993, she married Michael Wayne Haydon in Plano, Texas. They made their home there before moving to Edgewood in 2010.

Pennie had a love for travel and enjoyed camping and hiking in the mountains, as well as strolling along the beach. She also found joy in snow skiing and gardening. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eloise Burchinal.

Pennie is survived by her loving husband, Mike Haydon of Edgewood, Texas; sister, Stephanie Adams and husband Jeff, and their children, Laura Adams and Beji Adams; brother, Jim Burchinal and his daughter, Ashley Burchinal; and brother, Eric Burchinal and wife Heather, and their children, Kylie Burchinal and Keely Burchinal.
