Paul William Wilson, 77, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at his home.
Paul was born on January 7, 1949, in Tyler, TX, to parents, Milton M. Wilson and Tilley Kuklo Wilson. He married Carol Ann Gundick and they spent 25 wonderful years together. Paul was the best husband to Carol, always asking how to make her day better or buying her flowers every week. He first and foremost was a Vietnam Veteran Marine. He believed in our freedoms and fought for them in small ways until the day he passed. Once a Marine, always a Marine, Semper Fi. Paul loved fishing and travelling on new roads whenever he could. He enjoyed going to 1st Monday and trying to find things for people in need, whether it be a special tool or household items for single mothers. Paul was also very funny, naturally, making people laugh often.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Tilley Wilson; three brothers, Joe Bob Wilson, Jack Carson Wilson and Donnie Wilson.
Paul is survived by his wife, Carol Wilson of Edgewood, TX; and a daughter, Melissa of Hephzibah, GA.
