Patricia "Pat" Ann Adams

Graveside services for Patricia “Pat” Adams, 79, of Fruitvale, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Pat passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, in Dallas.

Patricia Ann Franklin was born on August 20, 1945, in Beaumont, TX, to parents, Alfred Lee Franklin and Tressie Thompson Frankling.  She was raised in Beaumont where she attended school. Pat married George W. Adams, making their home in Kilgore. He later preceded her in death. She worked in the brewing department of Stroh Brewing Company for more than 25 years in Longview. Pat was of the Baptist faith. Her favorite pastime was shopping for clothing, make-up and home décor.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Tressie Franklin; husband, George W. Adams; son, Randy Franklin.

Pat is survived by her sons, Morgan Morris, Jr. and wife Janett of Rockwall, TX, and Louis Morris; grandchildren, Bobby Hughes and Pamela Engle and boyfriend Darren Rassmussen; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hughes and Jodee Engle.
