Graveside services for Patricia Wallace, 94, of Wills Point, Texas, are scheduled for 12:00 PM, Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Toliver Cemetery in Lamkin, Texas. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Patricia passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, in Terrell.
Patricia Ione Wallace was born on April 19, 1931, in Lamkin, Texas, to Floyd Wallace and Cordia Daniels Wallace. She was raised in Lamkin and Yantis, where she graduated early from high school.
Patricia married Frank “Tony” Munoz in Dallas on July 17, 1951, and they made their home in Dallas while raising their children. She dreamed of being a nurse, but after marriage she became a medical transcriptionist for the hospital. Following her divorce, Patricia moved to Galveston, where she served as an executive secretary for the Coastal Zone Laboratory of Marine Biology and Science at Texas A&M University. She helped many college students with preparing their college papers.
She was of the Catholic faith and found great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Patricia also had a special love for her pets, especially her cats and dogs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd (Slim) and Cordia Belle Daniel Wallace; siblings, Clifford, James Deward, Gene O’Dell, Jerry Max, Phillip Daniel and Quata.
Patricia is survived by sisters, Waldine and Deborah; children, Tony Ray Munoz, Claudia Munoz-Jackson, Caryn Sue Moore, Cynthia Belle Frakes, James Patrick Munoz, Carolyn John and Catherine Elizabeth Munoz Harris; fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
