Patricia Ann Reaves

A celebration of life for Patricia Ann Reaves, 83, of Arlington, TX, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, July 22, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Patricia passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Patricia Ann Strong was born on February 6, 1941, in Dallas, TX, to parents Jimmie D. Strong and Nona Bernice Johnson Strong. She grew up in and around Arlington, where she graduated from high school. Patricia married Donald Reaves on December 31, 1969, and they made their home in Arlington before moving to Ft. Worth to raise their family. Patricia was a dedicated homemaker and cherished member of the Baptist community. She found joy in singing in the choir at the Hillcrest Baptist Church as a member of the Highlanders. Patricia also loved watching classical movies and indulging in shopping adventures, especially at Walmart, Gibsons, and Treasure City. Patricia cherished her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Nona Strong, and her husband, Donald Reaves.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Brent Bernius and wife Linda of Garland, TX, and David Reaves of Ft. Worth, TX; daughters, Tosha Petty of Ft. Worth, TX, and Staci Bookout and husband Michael of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Trevor Bernius and wife Carson, Matt Petty, Kelsey Petty, and Brittney Bookout; and great-grandchildren, Rhett Bernius, Addison Bernius, and Lando Brewer.
