Private funeral services for Norma Jean Flowers, 85, of Dallas, TX, are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Dallas.
Norma passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in Tyler, TX.
Norma Jean Graham was born on May 28, 1935, in Marlin, TX, to parents, David Graham and Irene Casey Graham. She was raised in Dallas and graduated from Dallas Independent School District. Norma married Billy Ross Flowers on September 24, 1952, in Oklahoma and have been married for sixty-eight years. They made their home in the Dallas and Mesquites areas where they raised their family. Norma was a waitress and a homemaker. Later in life she was employed doing book binding. Norma was a member of Newman Park Baptist Church in Dallas for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David Graham and Irene Sherrell; brothers, Billy Joe Graham and Charles Sherrell; grandson, Jay Nichols; granddaughter, Robyn Nichols
Norma is survived by her husband, Billy Flowers of Dallas; son, Mike Flowers and wife, Marie of Mesquite; daughters, Mickie Warwick and husband, John of Balch Springs, Sheila Flowers of Seagoville, Glenda Flowers of Mesquite, Brenda Mask and husband, Russell of Seagoville; Kristi Holt and husband, Jimmy of Forney and Misty Sandoval and husband Adolfo of Dallas; brother, Archie Graham of Garland.
A public come and go visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
