Mathew Edward Wells, 48, of Wills Point, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021.

Mathew was born on November 4, 1972, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Michael Wells and Judy Kay Brown Wells. He was raised in Dallas and graduated from Dallas Can Academy. Mathew later moved to the Wills Point area to make his home. He was self employed in lawn maintenance. Mathew enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family and spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Wells; cousin, Vickie McVeigh.

Mathew is survived by his mother, Judy Wells of Wills Point, TX; aunts, Peggy Day of North Fort Myers, FL, Sally Jo Kirby of Chicago, IL, and Marcia Williams of Wood County, TX; cousins, Kiera Kirby, Ian Kirby and Tyler McVeigh.
