Mark Steven Taylor, 66, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on October 7, 2024. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, followed by burial at White Rose Cemetery.
Mark was born on October 21, 1957, in Dallas, TX, to Jack and Anna Lou Luttrell Taylor. He married Rebecca Lynn Allen on October 24, 1987, in Royse City, TX, and they spent 36 wonderful years together, raising their two children in the East Texas area.
Mark worked as a truck driver for Power Lab in Terrell for many years before retiring. He loved being outdoors, spending time fishing, going muddin', and grilling for his family and friends. Mark always enjoyed being with the people he cared about most. Whether it was cooking up a barbecue or sharing a laugh, Mark brought warmth and joy to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Anna Lou Taylor; grandson, Anthony Burrow; sister, Jacquie Timmons; and grandparents, B.R. and Milli Taylor.
Mark is survived by his wife, Becky Taylor of Edgewood, TX; his son, Michael Burrow of Dallas, TX; his daughter, Lisa Meeks of Lindale, TX; his brother, David McDonald and wife Marisa of Greenville, TX; his sister, Kathy Taylor of Garland, TX; nephew, A.J. Taylor of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Katlyn Pugh, Alexis Burrow, and Matthew Pugh; along with six great-grandchildren and one on the way. He also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
