Lucille Maureen Toppings

Funeral services for Lucille Maureen Toppings, 91, of Edgewood, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood. Burial will follow at Small Cemetey. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

We as a family are saddened to announce the passing of our family matriarch Lucille Maureen Topping on Sunday March 19 2023 in Idabel Oklahoma. She left this world at the young age of 91 full of spunk and loved by so many. 

She entered this joyous life on August 3, 1931 in Edgewood Tx as one of 14 siblings , with whom she remained close with over the years. She was a Sister you could count on, a caring Aunt to many nieces and nephews. A devoted Mother of 2, a beloved Grandmother of 4, a Great grandmother of 10, and a Great great Grandmother of 4. To say the least she will be missed dearly by all. 

She is survived by 2 sisters Virginia Sides and Wanda Morgan Bourne  both of Texas, Her Children s daughter Pam McMillian and husband of Texas and son Timothy Toppings and wife Pam of Oklahoma. Granddaughters Renay Brown and husband Greg of Georgia, April Bourne and husband Kyle of Oklahoma And Grandson Matthew Toppings of Texas. Great Granddaughters Corlie Toppings,  Emilee Frings,  Gracie and Delayne Bias all of Oklahoma. Great Granddaughters Taylor Ordaz, Felicia Ordaz and Faith Ordaz of Carlsbad New Mexico and Great Grandson Armondo " bubba" Ordaz of Carlsbad New Mexico. Great Grandson Bentley Brubaker-Toppings and Paige Toppings both of Texas. Great great Granddaughters Amelia and Paizlee Hamby and Brealynn Frings all of Oklahoma.  Great great Grandson Wyatt Tambunga of Carlsbad New Mexico. 

She was preceeded in death by 11 siblings , her husband RB Toppings of Texas and 1 Granddaughter Kathrinna Lawrence Ordaz. 

We invite all who knew her to attend and celebrate her wonderful life with us.  We have chose to spend our time as a family reflecting upon  memories and starting new traditions to continue her love of family for years to come.
