Lorie Lee Jones Isaacs, 56, from Wills Point, Texas, passed away on December 18, 2023, in Tyler. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Wills Point, followed by burial at White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
Born on January 6, 1967, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Billy Dean Dellinger and Bobbie Jean Rogers. Lorie had a lively upbringing in Cedar Hill where she was a cheerleader, played basketball, loved to ride dirt bikes and spend time outdoors all through junior high.
After high school, she tied the knot with Michael Isaacs in 1993. They settled in Wills Point in 1991 and ran the Blue Bird Café from 2000. Lorie sold the business to her son Aaron in 2012. She was a Baptist and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Brayleigh, McKinley, Rylynn, and Danyale.
Lorie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Isaacs, and son Kyle Long.
Lorie is survived by her son, Aaron Long and wife Katelynn of Wills Point, TX; fiancé, Marc Hess of Wills Point, TX; brothers, Ronnie Dillard of Georgia, Gary Dillard and wife Deedra of Cedar Hill, TX, Danny Dillard and wife Darla of Midlothian, TX, and William Dellinger of Italy, TX; sister, Nancy Stover of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Brayleigh Long, McKinley Long, Rylynn Whitaker and Danyale Whitaker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
