A celebration of life for Leslie “Kaye” Cook, 56, of Wills Point, TX, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Kaye passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, in Spencerville, OK.
Leslie Kaye Cook was born on October 23, 1963, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Walter Eugene Cook and Jewel Ann Glover Cook. She was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1983. Kaye later attended Tyler Junior College for nursing. She married Guy Crosby on October 31, 1981, in Texarkana and they lived in Wills Point where they raised their two daughters. They later divorced, but remained close friends. Kaye was self-employed as a massage therapist for many years. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and shopping, but most of all loved to spend time with her girls and grandkids. Kaye was of the Christian faith.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jewel “Judy” Cook.
Kaye is survived by her father, Walter Cook of Fruitvale, TX; daughters, Tiffany Crosby Hulsey of Wills Point, TX and Chealsey Brown and husband, Fletcher of Spring, TX; brother, Bud Cook and wife, Danica of Grand Saline, TX; sisters, Doris Stephens and husband, Rick of Denton, TX and Diane Fink and husband, Mike of Grand Saline, TX; grandchildren, Trinity Grace Hulsey, Taylor Gloria Hulsey, Carson Ann Brown and Cameron Faye Brown; and many nieces and nephews; she is also survived by boyfriend, Danny Wheeler of Wills Point, TX.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
