Lanesa "Susie" Ann Hamilton

Funeral services for Lanesa “Susie” Ann Hamilton, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, December 27, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Lanesa passed away December 19, 2021, in Canton, TX.

Lanesa Ann Hamilton was born September 4, 1957, to the late James Hamilton and Odell Spencer Hamilton.  She is a lifelong resident of Wills Point and attended the Cartwright School.  Lanesa worked as a certified nurse assistant for Crestwood Nursing Home and Rehab.  She was a member of Wesley Chapel Baptist Church.

Susie loved to cook a watch western television shows.  She was very quiet and enjoyed staying home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Jeanette Stanford and Mae Dee Jones, and one brother, Elmer Earl Hamilton,

Susie is survived by her brothers, Sony Hamilton of Wills Point, Robert Hamilton and wife Tammy of Dallas, Jeffe Hamilton of Terrell; sisters, Mary Lou Hamilton of Wills Point and Patricia Hamilton Jones and husband Kenneth of Irving; and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Sunday.
