Memorial services for Kenneth “Ken” Duane Crichlow, 72, of Edgewood, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood, TX.
Kenneth passed away October 14, 2022, in Tyler TX.
Kenneth Duane Crichlow was born October 11, 1950, to James Charles Crichlow and Colleen Underwood Crichlow Godwin. He was raised in Hatch, New Mexico. Following graduation, he attended New Mexico State University and after his first semester, he decided to serve his country in the United States Navy for twenty years. He was involved in the Electronic Warfare Support Measures for nine years and an instructor for seven years. His awards included the National Defense Service Medal, Frist and second Good Conduct Award, Navy Unit Commendation Medal, and Third Good Conduct Medal. Ken then worked for the United States Postal service and retired in 2012.
Ken met Paula Comer and they married March 27, 1998, and they made their home in Lubbock, TX. They moved to Edgewood in 2013 to live nears Ken’s mother, Colleen Godwin. Ken is a member of Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood.
He is preceeded in death by his father, James Charles Crichlow; stepfather, James R. Godwin; and daughter Lisa Crichlow.
Ken is survived by his wife, Paula Crichlow of Edgewood; mother, Colleen Godwin of Edgewood; sons, James Crichlow and wife Jamie of Casper, WY, William Crichlow and wife Allison of Cleveland, OH; step-son, David Stephenson and wife Lori of Davenport, IA; sister, Janet Emmerson of Plano; grandchildren, Mikey Eichorn, Jasmine Crichlow, Tia Crichlow, Adelaide Crichlow, Helena Crichlow and Katie Crichlow.
T.A. Hales class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
