Kenneth passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Tyler, surrounded by his family.
It was on April 1, 1951, that the late Sherman and Margaret Randle welcomed their first child, a baby boy they named Kenneth Earl Randle. Born and raised in Edgewood, Kenneth attended school in the Edgewood district, where classmates remembered him as shy but always wearing the best smile. He found his stride in high school, becoming a standout football player and earning a scholarship to Trinity Valley Community College.
Kenneth professed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and became a lifelong member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he remained faithful until his passing. He was ordained as a deacon and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Kenneth taught his final dynamic Sunday School lesson on November 30, 2025.
On April 1, 1972, Kenneth married the love of his life, Dorothy Lockett Randle, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage. They raised three children, including their daughter Katosha Randle, who preceded him in death. Kenneth was known for his storytelling, his humor, and his ability to share wisdom and life lessons with anyone who crossed his path. He loved deeply, fussed when needed, and always brought a smile to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Margaret Randle; his grandmother, Johnnie Mae Williams; his son, Tyrone Williams and daughter, Katosha Randle; and his brother and sister-in-law, Sherman Jr. and Helen Randle.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Dorothy Randle; his son, Kenneth Randle Jr. (Erica); his daughters, KoKeesha Paul (Kevin) and LaShonda Williams; ten grandchildren, Keeley, Kassidy, Kaden, Kyler, Konner, Trey, Alisha, David Jr., KeAndra, and Courtney; two sisters, Dorothy Nell Randle and LaRuth Dixon (Barney); one brother, Michael Randle; three sisters-in-law, Emitene Whitmore (Eddie), Oteria McDaniel (Malachi), and Bobbie Turner; two brothers-in-law, John Lockett (Carolyn) and Bernest Lockett (Ruby); along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
