Funeral services for Kelly “Thomas” Williams, 28, of Mount Pleasant, TX, are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service time starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.

Thomas passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Austin.

Kelly Thomas Williams was born on January 5, 1994, in Corsicana, TX, to Kelly Shane Sterling Williams and Nilla Susan Harris. He was raised in Fruitvale and graduated from Fruitvale High School in the year 2012. Thomas later obtained an associate’s degree from Northeast Texas Community College before moving to Mount Pleasant. He was employed by Newly Wed Foods working in quality control until more recently working for Pilgrim’s Pride in the packing department. Thomas enjoyed cooking, painting and loved his dog Cookie. He was an avid arts fan, loving music, reading and writing. Thomas enjoyed being with his family and was a sweet, loving, giving and caring person with a huge heart.

Thomas is survived by his parents, Michael and Nilla Johnson of Fruitvale, TX; brothers, Raymond Miracle and wife, Jessie of Kansas, Dalton Shelton of Grand Saline, TX, Brent Shelton of Fruitvale, TX, Wade Johnson and wife, Peyton of Grandbury, TX, and Wacey Johnson and wife, Elaine of McKinney, TX; sisters, Kaitlin Inmon of Fruitvale, TX, Finesse Grey and husband, John of Terrell, TX, and Brittini Valkenaar and husband, Steven of Bridgeport, TX; nieces and nephews, Jr., Evie, Silas, Eli, Faith, Grace, Hope, Ava and Daycen; grandfather John Harris and wife Joanne; grandmother Verica Harris and husband Paul; great aunt Linda Keeling; aunt Christina Marshall and husband Brian and cousins Cindy, Thresa and Ashlyn Marshall; uncle Johnny Harris; aunt Darlene Yosten; aunt Sammie Morales and husband Jose and cousins Miranda and Ashlee Morales; aunt Little Sheila Yvonne and husband David and cousins Tyler and Seth Yvonne; and uncle Ryan Yvonne and family.
