John Brodie King

Funeral services for John Brodie King, 57, of Jasper, are scheduled for 12:30 PM, Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation will be held at 11:30 AM prior to service. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.

John passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019.

John Brodie King was born on April 13, 1962, in Houston, TX, to parents, John Randall King and Margaret Jane Brodie. He was raised in Wills Point where he attended Wills Point High School. John was in the commercial construction business for many years. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, building and repairing. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, mother, Margaret Jane Aycock and father, John Randall King.

John is survived by his step-father, James Aycock of Wills Point and step-mother, Joan King of San Antonio; daughters, Kristina Comeaux and husband, Zachary of Forney and Brandi Sweeney and husband, Billy of Caddo Mills; brothers, Kirk King of Jasper and Craig King and wife, Amy of Caddo Mills; sisters, Colleen Cox of Wills Point, Erin Corkran and husband, Burl of Jasper and Kelly Harrison and husband, Tim of Garland; grandchildren, Cameron Sweeney, Katelynn Sweeney, Kaydence Sweeney, Peyton Marsh, Kollin Sweeney, Olivia Comeaux, Johnny Comeaux, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
