John Wesley Green, III, 56, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020, in Tyler, TX.

John Wesley Green, III, was born on August 13, 1964, in Columbus, GA, to parents, John Wesley Green, II, and Ann Lou Hill Green. He was raised in Columbus, GA, where he graduated high school. After high school John served four years in the United States Army. John was an owner/operator, CDL and over the road truck driver. He moved to the Edgewood community three years ago. John was of the Christian faith. He loved animals and had an infectious personality.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann Green; brother, Arthur “Pete” Senior.

John is survived by his sister, Margaret Dickens of Chicago, IL; brother, Lewis Senior and wife, Lillian of Atlanta, GA; brother, Gregory Colon and wife, Julie of Desoto, TX; sister, Alicia Colon of Edgewood, TX; along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be announced at a later time for the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, TX.
