Joe Charles Maner, Jr. of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, with his wife by his side.
He was born on October 7, 1958, to Wanda Sue and Joe Charles Maner, Sr. in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in Garland, Texas, and graduated from Garland High School in 1977. He married his soulmate, Joy (White), on May 26, 1984; and he was blessed with 39 years of marriage and with one daughter, Amanda.
Joe was a Journeyman Electrician and worked in the maintenance and electrical fields for many years. He worked for Flextronics International in Plano for years. Then he was subsequently employed by Camelot Facility and Property Management in Plano, and assigned to work at Mr. Cooper Group, Inc. in Coppell, before his retirement in 2022. This was Joe's ideal dream job where he had high respect and regard for all bosses, teammates, and office personnel.
His prime enjoyments were spending time with his wife and daughter; as well as, the companionship of buddies while working on any and all things to repair. Joe loved farm life and raising his cattle.
Joe was a loving and devoted husband, father, and brother who leaves behind his wife, Joy, his daughter, Amanda, brother David Maner, his wife Rebecca, his twin sister Debora Robinson, her husband Jim, along with two nieces, Miriam and Carrie Robinson, and one nephew Austin Robinson. He also leaves behind other wonderful relatives and many friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Joe Charles Maner, Sr., his mother Wanda Sue Maloy Maner, William Paul White, his father-in-law, and his mother-in-law, MariAnn Livesay White.
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 12:30 pm., at The Webb Chapel Church of Christ, 13425 Webb Chapel Road, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
Joe will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
A barbeque lunch will be prepared for everyone after the 12:30 memorial service in the church's Fellowship Hall.
