Jimmy Earl Julius

Jimmy Earl Julius, 63, of Greenville, TX, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021.

Jimmy was born on May 11, 1958, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Robert Lee Julius and Barbara Ann Dawson Julius. He was a truck driver for most of his life before retiring. Jimmy enjoyed fishing and cooking out especially if it was for a party. He loved to smoke meat and was always the last person to make a plate and always the first person to clean up. Jimmy enjoyed big family functions and getting to see everyone, but loved his peace and quiet in his travel trailer.  Jimmy made sure if any of the kids wanted ice cream they got it. He was always wanting to make sure people were happy and had everything they needed even if that meant he would go without. Jimmy hated to be bored and always found some new project to keep him busy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Julius.  

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Brittany Nicole Whitaker and husband, Coleman; brothers, Dillard Julius (Johnny Walker), Bill Julius, Roger Julius and Howard Julius; sisters, Brenda Jones, Pauline Hampton, Elaine Thompson (aka Katie) and Debbie Barkheimer; best buddy, Laylah Connell; future granddaughter, Jax Whitaker; step-grandchildren, Kynslie and Pierce Whitaker; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
