Jerry Fae Miller

Jerry Fae Miller of Grand Saline, TX passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023, at the age of 82, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 14,1940, in Birmingham, AL to the late Walter G. and Mary Lee Booker.  She graduated from high school in Alamogordo, NM in 1958.  She served her country in the United States Marine Corps for 2 years.  Following her service, she met and married Richard “Chip” Miller on August 17, 1963.  At the age of 60, she received her Real Estate and Brokers license and was very successful in that industry for several years.

Jerry is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Miller of Grand Saline, TX; daughter Jill Young and husband Dell of Valdosta, GA; son Derrell Miller and wife Amy of Port St Joe, FL; son Darren Miller and wife Danna of Prosper, TX; daughter Jeanne Miller of Valdosta, GA; sister Barbara Black and husband Milton of Rio Rancho, NM; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter G. and Mary Lee Booker, and her two brothers, Richard and Buddy. 

What Jerry enjoyed most was spending time with her family.  She loved SHOPPING, dancing, road trips, cooking for her family, and sewing…just to name a few of her favorite things. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Spur On Ministries located at 2670 Hwy 37 South, Mineola TX 75773.  Refreshments will be served following the service.

Services are under the direction of Hiett’s Lybrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX.
