Memorial services for Jason Lane Lopez, 53, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. 

Jason passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, in Tyler, TX.

Jason Lane Lopez was born on January 23, 1972, in Dallas, TX, to William Frederick Lopez and Mollie Kay Geddings. He attended Wills Point High School and graduated from Denton High School in 1990. Jason proudly served his country in the United States Army as a radar operator for the Hawk Missile crew while stationed at Fort Bliss.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie Kay Geddings; and grandparents, Tony and Angelina Lopez and Alvin and Catherine Geddings.

Jason is survived by his father, William F. Lopez, and stepmother, Regina Lopez of Wills Point, TX; brothers, Justin Lopez and wife Yolanda Buchannan, Ryan Lopez and wife Hannah and Aaron Lopez and wife Cecilia Lopez; nephews, Wesley Lopez, Clark Lopez, Rory Lopez, and Fitzwilliam Lopez; nieces, Josephine Lopez, Edina Lopez and Layla Harrison; uncles, Renaldo Lopez and Anthony Lopez; and aunts, Marsha Matthews and Lana Geddings.
