Funeral services for James Edward Bell, 63, of Garland, Texas, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

James passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Tyler, TX.

James Edward Bell was born on December 22, 1957, in Dallas, TX, to parents, William Henry Bell and Mary Lilly Dial Bell. He was raised in Dallas where he attended school. James has lived in Garland for the last 18 years. He was disabled his entire life. James was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, loved to eat and watch sports and enjoyed to hunt deer and pig. He was a pure honest soul and loved everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Bell; brother, Sam Bell; and sister, Louise Bell.

James is survived by his brothers, Bill Bell and wife, Lula of Quinlan, TX, Jerry Bell of Garland, TX, Wayne Bell and wife, Janice of Mesquite, TX, and Frank Bell and wife, Wanda of Irving, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, March 19, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.
