Celebrating a Life of Love and Strength.

A celebration of life for Annette will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. The family will have a private burial at Locust Grove Cemetery. 

Ivory Annette Gieger Lee, known to all as Annette, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025, at her home in Frisco, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 25, 1950, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Nancy Ruth Morgan Gieger and Victor Gieger, Annette moved with her family to Dallas, Texas, in 1961, and graduated from Carter High School in 1968.

Annette began her career with GM Motors in Arlington, Texas, in 1968, where she worked until 1978. She married Albert Joseph Nemic on May 29, 1970, and together they raised three children. She devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother from 1978-1992, before returning to work at Sewell GMC (1992-1999), Lincoln Restaurant Group (1999-2002), and RHA (2002-January 2024).

She married Stan Lee on November 5, 1995, and was married to him until 2015.

Annette will be remembered for her radiant smile, remarkable strength, and unwavering love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Nancy Gieger; and brothers, Jeffery Lane Gieger and Dennis Wayne Gieger.

Annette is survived by her sons, Byron Albert Nemic and wife Alicia of Frisco, TX, and Ryan Joseph Nemic and wife Shannon of Katy, TX; daughter, Shanna Nemic Lemley of Venus, TX; stepchildren, Jennifer Lee Mendoza and husband Michael of Northlake, TX and family and Garrett Lee and wife Katie of McKinney, TX and family; sister, Carolyn Farmer of Terrell, TX; nephew, Stephen Farmer and wife Dawn of Mesquite, TX and family; grandchildren, Cody Lemley and wife Mackenzie of Rockwall, TX, Alaina Devage and husband Taylor of Rogers, AR, Katelyn Nemic of Frisco, TX, Luke Nemic of Frisco, TX, Nathan Nemic of Katy, TX, Stella Nemic of Katy, TX, Harper Nemic of Katy, TX, Ethan Lemley and wife Addison of Waxahachie, TX, and Brynne Lemley Arevelo and husband Adrian of San Diego, CA; along with great grandchildren, Piper Lemley and Presley Lemley.
