Isidro Leija Cervantes

Isidro Leija Cervantes, 79, of Wills Point, TX, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. The family will receive friends from Noon to 8:00 PM, Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Isidro was born on June 15, 1945, in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, to parents Lazaro Leija Zurita an Eulalia Cervantes De Le Fuente. He was raised in Muzquiz where he attended school. Isodro married San Juana Rocha on January 26, 1966, and moved to the community of Wills Point to make their home. Isidro was a technician for J & L Utilities.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Joe Lazaro Leija; brother, Juan Manuel Leija; sisters, Rosa Luna, Cuca Leija, Josepha Garcia and Fidencia Leija.

Isidro is survived by his wife, San Juana Rocha; sons, Ismael Leija, Isidro Leija, Jr. and Ruben Leija; daughters, Amabilia Hernandez, Yesenia Hernandez and Eulalia Leija; sister, Apolonia Leija; along with thirty-one grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.
