Irene (Field) Malbera

Irene Malerba, 75, of Wills Point, TX, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at her home.

Irene Field was born on January 15, 1950, in Grundy, Virginia. Ater graduating high school Irene proudly served her country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. She served as a medical corpsman and also received the National Defense Medal. Irene later went on to obtain her nursing degree, a field in which she was employed for most of her career.

Irene is survived by her two sons, Christopher Malerba and wife of New Hampshire and Jerome Malerba of Florida.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
