Helen Regena Faubion

Helen Regena Faubion, 74, of Mesquite, TX, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, in Dallas, TX. Burial will be held at White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Helen Regena Hartman was born on October 18, 1948, in Dallas, TX, to parents Bedford Hal Hartman and Helen Eugene Smith Hartman. She was raised in Rockwall and graduated from Rockwall Highschool. Helen obtained her nursing degree at Tyler Junior College. She married Cary Faubion in Rockwall in 1967. Helen and Cary lived in various cities including Rockwall, Garland and moving to east Texas in 1981, to make their home. She worked as a registered nurse for many companies and eventually served as a hospice nurse before she retired. Helen was of the Christian faith. She loved listening to music and was an avid Elvis fan.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bedford and Helen Hartman and husband, Cary Faubion.

Helen is survived by her sons, Jon Faubion of Whitehouse, TX, and Robert W. Faubion of Alaska; brother, Hal Hartman of Nevada, TX; three granddaughters, one grandson, three great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
