Graveside services for Glenn Edward Douglas, 68, of Quitman, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at White Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
Glenn Edward Douglas passed away on February 27, 2026, at his home in Quitman.
Glenn was born on January 23, 1958, in Knoxville,TN, to the late Bobby Ray Douglas and Betty Jean Hill. He spent the majority of his youth in Garland, TX. Glenn spent his entire working career in the auto paint and body industry. He moved to Wills Point in 1986, owned and operated Kar Paint and Body in Wills Point and Edgewood before moving to Quitman in 1998. He relocated to Quitman, where he continued serving the community with pride and dedication.
He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and love of joking with friends and family. Glenn enjoyed spending time at the local café in Quitman and at The MinnowBucket on Lake Fork. He faithfully followed high school football, he enjoyed playing slots and scratch offs. Glenn was also very proud of his time volunteering with the Wills Point Fire Department, where he served alongside his brothers and many community members. His service and dedication are honored with recognition at the Fireman’s Pavilion at Lester Park.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Michael Douglas and Ricky Douglas.
He is survived by his son, Chris Douglas and wife Angie of Wills Point; his granddaughters, Graci Douglas and Addison Douglas; his sister-in-law, Teresa Douglas; and his nieces and nephews, Dawn (Douglas) Hunsaker, Troy Douglas, Carl Douglas, and Jana (Douglas) Golden, along with extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.
