Gladys Louise Leibold formerly of Pipe Creek, Texas passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 101 at Crestwood Assisted Living in Wills Point, Texas. She was born in Colorado City, Texas to Leona (Herrington) and Charles Edward Jackson on June 21, 1921. She met and later married Dewitt Eddie Leibold on August 24, 1947.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Leona Jackson, Sister, Lona Bell, Husband, Dewitt Leibold, and nephew Bradley Bell.
She leaves behind Her only Son, Eddie Leibold and wife Natalie, Grandsons Kristofer Leibold and wife Angela, Douglas Leibold and wife Theresa, and Daniel Leibold. She also leaves behind three great grandchildren, Lorelei Leibold, Kai Leibold, and Rosie Leibold. Her extended family consists of a niece and nephew, Charlie Bell and wife Rene and Sharon Elmendorf and husband, Robert.
Louise’s Celebration of Life will be held and Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera, Texas on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm
Family and friends are invited to a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
Interment to follow at Bandera Cemetery.
Local arrangements were made under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
