Gary Anthony Stolarick

A memorial service for Gary Anthony Stolarick, 65, of Greenville, TX, formerly of Wilkes Barre, PA, are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Gary passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, in Greenville, TX.

Gary Anthony Stolarick was born on September 11, 1954, in Wilkes Barre, PA, to parents, George Stolarick and Pauline DeBold Stolarick. He was raised in Pennsylvania where he attended Gate of Heaven Catholic School. Gary later attended Westside Voc-Tech School, Luzerne County Community College and Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. He married Carol Willis on June 17, 1998, and they made their home in Dallas, PA. Gary worked for Proctor & Gamble in Mehoopney, PA, in the product development department and also worked for Cascade Tissue Group in Pittston, PA.

Gary was a man of many passions, one was the Shavertown Fire Department in Shavertown, PA. He served his community even though he had been living in Texas for the last five years. Gary was well connected and aware of every emergency call that came though the fire department and could watch the firemen depart the firehouse from his cellphone. Gary loved life and he never met a stranger. He was an avid hunter for many years. Gary was a man of many talents and there wasn’t a job he wouldn’t tackle no matter how big or small.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline Stolarick and brother, George Allan Stolarick.

Gary is survived by the biggest love of his life, his wife, Carol Willis Stolarick of Greenville, TX; sons, William “Billy” Youngblood and wife, Kerri of Hanover Township, PA, Stephen Stolarick and wife, Michelle of Dallas, PA, and Gary Anthony Youngblood and wife, Abbie of Dallas, PA; daughters, Susan Scott Sanko and husband, John of Wills Point, TX, and Anna Scott Vines and husband, Kane of Prosper, TX; mother-in-law, Carolyn Willis of Greenville, TX; grandchildren, Stephen, Madeliene, Macey, Olivia, Arik, Ian, Sadie, Faryn, Brady and Lacey; siblings, Marie Fry and husband, Billy of Shickshinny, PA, Eric Stolarick and wife, Susan of Thornhurst, PA, Pauline Sudek and husband, Joe of Noxen, PA and Kent Stolarick of Shickshinny, PA.
