Memorial services for Freddy Lee Conner, 76, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
Freddy was born on July 22, 1945, in Wills Point, TX, to parents Buford Woods and Annie Gertrue Moore. He was a life-long resident, being raised in Wills Point and also attending Cartwright School. Freddy was currently employed in maintenance for the Tiger Stop gas station. He was a member of Wesley Chapel Baptist Church. Freddy loved to ride his bike and enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Annie Woods; brothers, Charles Woods, Leo Woods and Cecil Woods; sister, Annie Attaway.
Freddy leaves behind his three sons, Steve Hamilton of Wills Point, TX, Tony Hamilton of Wills Point, TX, and Cornelius Hamilton of Wills Point, TX; mother of his sons, Mary Lou “Dumplin” Hamilton of Wills Point, TX; special friend, Norma Booker of Wills Point, TX; sisters, Donna Ruth Woods of Wills Point, TX, Lynda Byas of Dallas, TX, and Brenda Iwuagwu of Dallas, TX; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
