A private burial for Frances Eileen Bridwell Bond, 87, of Richardson, TX, was held at White Rose Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX.
Frances Eileen Bridwell Bond, age 87, of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Born on October 12, 1936, in Terrell, Texas, to Ernest Franklin Mislivets and Mellie Velma Courtney Mislivets, Frances grew up in the heart of Texas and graduated from Terrell High School in 1953. She married James Durwood Bridwell in October of 1953 and had their only son Michael Wayne Bridwell in 1960. They settled in the Richardson community in 1961 however, tragedy struck in 1973 when Durwood died after 20 years of marriage.
Frances found love again in 1977 and married John H. Bond. They were married for 34 years until his death in 2013. Frances worked for more than 20 years in the administrative offices of Richardson Independent School District, retiring in 1994. She was a beloved and dedicated member of the Richardson community for over six decades.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mellie Mislivets; her first husband, James Durwood Bridwell; her second husband, John H. Bond; her beloved son, Mike Bridwell; and her brother, Ernest Mislivets.
She leaves behind her surviving family, including her grandson, Christopher Bridwell of Richardson, TX, her former daughter-in-law, Robin O’Brien and her husband Dwight Estep of Dallas, TX.
