Graveside services for Frances Mae Cupit, 65, of Denton, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Small Cemetery in Edgewood. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
Frances Mae Cupit passed away on April 3, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 18, 1958, in Dallas, TX, to Burnie Lee Perry and Frances Louella Smith Perry.
Frances grew up in the Dallas Metroplex and attended North Mesquite High School. In January of 1980, she married Richard Cupit, and together they raised their two children, Misty and Paul, in Pittsburg, TX. After Richard's passing in 1995, Frances remained devoted to her family and her faith as a Baptist.
Frances was a dedicated homemaker, finding joy in simple pleasures like embroidery, gardening, and coloring on her tablet. She cherished time spent with family and friends, her laughter filling every room. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and strength, and deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cupit and brother, Billy Perry.
She is survived by her son, Paul Cupit of Denton, TX; daughter, Misty Cupit, and husband Jesse Hidalgo of Denton, TX; sisters, Patricia Marical of Alba, TX, and Charlotte Speer of Alba, TX; and grandchildren, Natalie, Aiden, Logan, Joaquin, and Nathan.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
