Eva Louise Langston

Funeral services for Eva Louise Langston, 85, of Wills Point, TX, is scheduled for 11:00AM, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Eva passed from this life into the welcoming arms of her Lord on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022, at Hiett”s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Eva was born in Mansfield, Ohio on September 9, 1937.  Her family moved about several times during her childhood.  She met and married her beloved Walt Langston in 1961. Eva, along with her husband Walt and children, surrendered to God’s call on their lives and moved to the country of Mexico to minister and spread the Gospel of Christ to that nation.  Together they established “Extensions of Jesus” ministries.  The work they began many years ago, continues today through their son Sammy and daughter in law Martha.

Eva is preceded in death by her husband Walt Langston and her son Walt “Dooley” Langston. 

She is survived by her Eva is survived by her sons, Sammy Langston and wife, Martha of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Don “Bubba” Draughon and wife, Laurie of Kansas City, MO, and J.T. Geddes; daughters, Cheryl LeClaire and husband, David of Royse City, TX, Sandra Montalbano of Port Neches, TX, and Barbara Orem of Santa Fe, TX; grandchildren, Charity Railsback, Jason Railsback Cox, April Langston, Suri Langston, Ann Marie Sealey and Christi Coon.

Eva was a loving, giving woman who touched many lives.  She was loved and will be missed greatly, but we rejoice in the promise of Heaven.
