Eddie Hale Obituary

Eddie Wayne Hale, 75, of Wills Point, TX, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Dallas, surrounded by his loving family.

Eddie was born on January 22, 1950, in Dallas, TX, to Harvey Edward Hale and Lucille Bernice Smith Hale. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1968 before attending East Texas State University (now known as Texas A&M Commerce University) to study electrical engineering.

On May 5, 1973, Eddie married Toni Marie Politte in Dallas, and together they built a life filled with love and hard work. In 1974, they settled in Mesquite, where they lived until 2006 before moving to Wills Point. There, Eddie found joy in farm life, raising cattle and horses on their land. Eddie was also an avid fisherman and hunter, hunting dove, quail and deer on their deer lease in Girard, TX.

A dedicated businessman, Eddie owned WB Container Service in Balch Springs since 1996. He was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and the deep friendships he cultivated over the years. Eddie also attended Lake Highland Baptist Church before moving to Wills Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lucille Hale.

Eddie leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his wife, Toni Hale of Wills Point, TX; his daughter, Jennie Tobin and her husband Peter of Wills Point, TX; his beloved granddaughter, Hannah Tobin of Wills Point, TX; his brother, Randy Hale and his wife Dorothy of Sachse, TX; his sister, Brenda Hale Pederson of Lavon, TX; and many dear friends who were like family to him.

The family will have a private service at a later date. Eddie’s family is being assisted by Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX..

Eddie was not a tall man in stature, but his huge presence will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for the land, and the kindness he showed to everyone who knew him. His legacy of hard work and love will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
