Funeral services for Destanie Tawana Lejuna Hill, 19, of Richardson, TX, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation will held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Destanie Hill, age 19, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Richardson, Texas with her beloved mother by her side.

Destanie was born on August 16, 2002, in Kaufman Texas, to parents Cleon Hill and Rhonda Stanford (Carrington Tennie). A beautiful, sweet child,  Destanie, was known by her family and friends as a true fighter yet a beautiful light from Heaven. Destanie set so many hearts ablaze in her short time on earth. She had the biggest smile, an infectious laugh, and eyes bright like shiny stars. Destanie grew up in Wills Point, Texas until the age of 6, at which  time the family moved to Mesquite, Texas. Destanie enjoyed school, music, and watching television. She graduated from Berker High School in 2020.

Destanie is proceeded in death by her Father, Cleon Hill; Brother, Darius Spencer; Grandmother, Willie Bell Spencer and Great Grandmother, Ida Bell Autry. Destanie leaves to cherish her memory mother, Rhonda Stanford (Carrington Tennie); her brother, Damon Spencer; her sister, De'ivion Hill; her niece, El'Layna Hill; her grandparents, Patricia Stanford (Ronald Wright) and Larry Knox; grandmother, Doris Hill and great grandmothers, Norma Booker and Elousie Tucker; along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
