Dennis Ray Bell, Sr.

Funeral services for Dennis Ray Bell, Sr. 76, of Edgewood, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will follow at Prairie Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Dennis Ray Bell Sr gained his wings on June 22, 2025 in his home surrounded by family at the age of 76.  Dennis was born August 27, 1948 to Clarence and Valarie(McDaniel) Bell in Dallas, Texas and was the youngest of three children.  Dennis was married to Jerri Diana Smith December 11, 1965 and to this union two children Dennis Ray Bell Jr and Ricky Don Bell.

Dennis spent his career with Coco-Cola in Dallas, Texas and later retired to Edgewood, Texas where he worked at the Edgewood Housing Authority.  Dennis was in the Masonic Lodge for 55 years serving in Seagoville, Edgewood, Grand Saline and Wills Point.  He has held many positions thru-out his years and volunteered many hours to serve his community.  Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and being around his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife Diana, his children Dennis Ray Jr and Ricky and Kimberly; grandchildren Justin and Jessika, Britney, Brandi and Porter, Bradlee, Brayden, Kelsey, Katie, Trintan and Sarah, Spencer, Payzlea; great grandchildren Ian, Karson, Raelynn, Rhett and Jonah and sister Carol Adams(Bell).  Dennis is proceeded in death by his parents Clarence and Valarie Bell, brother Jack and parents in law William Earl and Lillian Smith and grandmother Callie Ward.
